What have I done?

In the years that have passed…

That you and I are together,

I never thought (even for a second)

That we’ll ever count ‘us’.

It has always been you and me,

One and same forever…

What we did, we did and did it together.

For it was ‘us’, we possessed one world,

Making one little room upon the vast earth.

We were sailors turning wheel together across the great ocean,

Sailed the boat adeptly through all storm

To anchor it on an island most beautiful.

Time passed, things were always proper (never questioned)

Cuz our love was never quantified in such terms.

Yet, one fine day, I got up from a dream

In a scythe reality pinned

My ears just heard a voice screaming…

‘In the years we are together,

What have you done?’

I laughed at myself and said,

‘Yes, what have I done…maybe Nothing!’
